Horse Starting clinic
This program is for young horses that may or may not have been handled or worked with. Instruction is directed on groundwork and preparation for the first ride. Halter work, quieting, gentling and saddling with the minimum of stress for both horse and rider, are the main focuses of this clinic. The third and final day’s objective is to have horse and rider prepared and in the saddle for their first ride. One of the benefits of this program is that owners participate and contribute with a ‘hands on’ approach to their horse’s education.

This Program covers practical horsemanship skills and techniques. It is designed to build confidence with an emphasis on safety for horse and rider. The two day program starts with ground work progressing to the saddle. This program is suitable for anyone with the desire to develop a better relationship with their horse.
